ASEAN
ASEAN Parkville is the newly opened branch of the ASEAN group that is already alive and HUGE in Monash Clayton and Caulfield. This year and from now onwards, ASEAN will be an integral part of Parkville's already awesome clubs social life!

Standing for the Association of South East Asian Nations, we stand for providing students with an exciting, fun and friendly social experience at uni! We generally attract but are definitely are not restricted to young adult members of Asian descent, and we are at the forefront of bridging a social gap between the Australian-Asian community. In fact, ASEAN is the largest social club of Monash University!

We organise a huge selection of exciting and popular events, and work with other club's. You'll have heaps of fun at our anticipated traditional and annual events, as well as a few premiere new events~! Look out for our Summer Camp, Annual Ball, the ski trip, Cocktail Night and Poker Tournament!

The aim of Baha’i society is to foster a spirit of unity in diversity on campus by facilitating a range of activities that encourage and promote the principles of the Baha'i Faith, namely World Peace and the oneness of humankind.

These activities include Unwind which is a chance to chill out to the words of different faiths and traditions to the sound of relaxing music. Shorinji Kempo - Self-defence
Everybody is welcome to enjoy and train in Shorinji Kempo. Unlike other forms of self-defence which require physical strength and conditioned bodies, Shorinji Kempo is based on speed, balance, and body movement. In this way, a small person can overcome a larger and stronger opponent.

Shorinji Kempo Melbourne is the only club in Victoria and has trained at Monash University since 1986. We are registered with the World Shorinji Kempo Organisation (WSKO) in Japan.

Shorinji Kempo places no emphasis on winning or losing. Instead, it concentrates on mutual respect and understanding between training companions so that both parties enjoy the benefits of training and progress on the basis of mutual development. The essence of Shorinji Kempo practice is the development of a healthy mind, healthy body and ability in self defence.
